Dr. Luis Felipe Alvarado

Biography:
Luis Felipe Alvarado has served as a professor, an instructor and a
consultant in diverse industries and organizations for more than 40 companies
in Mexico and the United States. In Mexico, he works at the Monterrey
Institute of Technology (ITESM), where he is the Dean of Communication
at the ITESM's Virtual University. He is responsible for inter-institutional
communication, image, marketing, promotion and public relations for the
Virtual University in more than 35 sites in Mexico and Latin America.
In 1994, he obtained the prestigious Charles Taft Award from the University
of Cincinnati. In 1993, he was the editor of the Cincinnati Romance Review
magazine that showcases high level research in the area of humanities.
Dr. Luis Alvarado obtained his Bachelor's degree in Communications at
the ITESM, his Master's degree in Intercultural Communication and International
Studies at Ohio University, and his Ph.D. in Linguistics and Literature
at the University of Cincinnati.
