Position Description: A Key to Scholarship

Presenters:
Dr. C.J. "Bud" Weiser, dean emeritus, College of Agricultural Sciences, Oregon State University, and author of "The Value System of a University--Rethinking Scholarship"

Dr. Lyla Houglum, dean of Extended Education and Director of the Extension Service, Oregon State University. Dr. Houglum has served in 4-H and youth development and was a member of the board of the Oregon Family Community Leadership program.

Dr. Irv Omtvedt, Vice Chancellor of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Vice President at the University of Nebraska, will open the program on behalf of the NASULGC Board on Agriculture.

Dr. Betty Overton, director of Higher Education, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, will appear live.

This program will be moderated by Dr. Janet Poley, president of ADEC.
