Subject: PwC e-Learning Network

To the PwC e-Learning Network Education Partners and members of our Council on Academic Management:

On December 14, 2000 the Army awarded to PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) a $453 million, 5 year contract to develop and operate the Army University Access Online Program. To respond to the Army's request for proposals and to deliver a solution to the Army we formed the PwC e-Learning Network, a team of colleges and universities, technology companies, education services providers, and others. We congratulate you on your role in this tremendous win as a member of the PwC e-Learning Network.

In recent days we have received many inquiries from members of the PwC e-Learning Network. We have not been able to respond to each of you individually as we would like. Therefore we respond to each of these inquiries below.

What should a member of the e-Learning Network do if they would like to issue a press release about the contract award?

We ask that all members of the PwC e-Learning Network interested in issuing a press release about the contract award work directly with Michael Cosgrove, Associate Director, Public Relations, PwC. He can be reached at 703.322.5922, or at michael.l.cosgrove@us.pwcglobal.com. It is critical that PwC, as the
prime contractor, approve all press releases about the contract award. What are the next steps in preparing for program launch in January?

Many groups will be involved in program launch and early phases of delivery, including our education partners, technology partners, Council on Academic Management, and Board of Advisors. We will be contacting each of you separately on Monday regarding critical next steps.

Who are the other members of the PwC e-Learning Network?
Attached below is a PwC-Learning Network Fact Sheet providing a description of the members of the Network.

We look forward to working with each one of you to deliver this ground-breaking program to the U.S. Army.

Regards,

Jill Kidwell
