Lewis and Clark Contrasting Technologies

Jim Sturm (Lewis and Clark technical head) using a modern compass to aim his satellite dish, in contrast to the Lewis and Clark re-enactor using his 200-year-old technology.

Jim reports that the satellite link is working wonderfully well, as they proceed down the Ohio River. This week we will join them in Marietta, OH to install equipment in the boat. This will enable them to send live video from both the boat and the shore, switching automatically back and forth as desired.
