Each Monterey 100 comes from the factory with a preset password: 2-3-4-5.
When the receiver asks for your password, slide the cover off the keyboard,
which is on the "heel," or lower portion, of your remote control. Then
enter [2-3-4-5] using the keys on the keyboard. You do NOT need to press
[Enter] after the final digit. If your receiver does not recognize this
password, it has been changed and you will need to contact Chaparral to
get help. Go to Planet Chaparral for help with this problem.
I recommend that you leave the password as it is set at the factory
unless you have a very good reason for changing it. There is great
potential for you or other users to be unable to use the downlink if you change
the password.
