Little Priest Tribal College Becomes Newest Tribal College Member of ADEC

Press Release

ADEC - On March 1, 2001, Little Priest Tribal College located in Winnebago, Nebraska has voted to become a newest tribal college member of ADEC.

Anne Downes, President, said "We are excited about the opportunities the membership can provide to Little Priest Tribal College". Little Priest is located on the Winnebago Indian reservation in northeastern Nebraska. Downes further said, "We have a cohesive Board of trustees which is key to their participation in ADEC".

Board members include Louis LaRose, Chair; Norma Steeler, Vice; and members Nicky Soloman, Pat Medina, Deb Picotte Hargreaves and Theresa Thomas, Student rep to the board.

Randy Ross, Tribal Affairs Coordinator for ADEC met with the Board of Trustees to discuss projects currently supported by ADEC and of potential involvement. He is looking forward to a positive productive working relationship.
