  • Need to begin working "within the system" to make technology better
  • Using similar programs by sharing via technology
  • Conversation, Dialogue, Brainstorm to make staff feel more comfortable with issues

  • Facilitate Local Sharing
  • Where are the natural affinities and the natural boundries?
  • Change has to occur at faculty level
  • We have to quit fighting territorial/turf wars
  • Can't dwell on title, but on the question

    EXPECTATION OF UNIT ADMINISTRATOR:

  • Get as many resources for our group as possible
  • Re-engineering
  • Quit some things
  • Where does the rest of the University fit in? Are they doing outreach, providing information, etc.?

    VALUE LINKAGES:

  • Field vs. Campus = Push & Pull
  • Who is/are Extension audiences?
  • Smart people aren't all at the university
  • Be creative about location
  • Why do we do what we do?
  • Emphasise PRODUCTS not REPORTS
