JAN: Or will the prevailing species--big players--countries--institutions--individuals--try to make clear their dominance and
assure that the lesser species accept their lower lot in life.
Co-dependence and symbiotic relationships do work...BUT predators
refine their attacks and their prey respond with new defenses.
New participants thread their way into mature ecosystems...
intramural squabbles break out.....making cooperation ever more
important. At this point the rules of competition and
collaboration change markedly. IF LEADERS STOP DRIVING INNOVATION
AT THIS STAGE, THE POWER OF THE SYSTEM WILL ERODE. Some longtime
incumbent contributors to the ecosystem may spend time in denial
of these brutal realities and waste time propping up decline.
All traditional institutions should be asking What if Bill Gates
