Genius: The Secrets of Creative Collaboration offer some Take
Home Lessons from Studying "Great Groups".
Great groups start with superb people.....these people have a knack for discovering important problems and skills in solving them....they want to do the next thing...not the last one. They see CONNECTIONS. Great groups and great leaders create each other - in every great group there is one person who acts as maestro.... organizing the genius of others. He or she is a pragmatic dreamer....a person with an original, but attainable vision....but the leader can only realize her/his vision if the others are free to do exceptional work. Great groups know how to find talent and blend talented people to work together with trust and caring. And finally great groups are optimists and think they are on a mission from God.
